Big City Nights: Cisero Murphy Saga

This screenplay project is regarding a New York City Gentleman that inspired a local community, while simultaneously becoming the “Father of Diversity” in a sport initially one ethnicity dominated. Based upon research gathered from the sports figure life, MES has delivered a piece of Sports / American / Black History to the world with the book entitled, Big City Nights: The Biography of the Legendary Cisero Murphy.

In which, MES has formulated a 239 page then edited into a 129 page screenplay to depict the journey of this great historical man. To briefly depict, Cisero Murphy is undoubtedly the greatest under-appreciated sports figure in history. He sensationalized a game that often was considered merely recreational. Murphy exhibited great skills and knowledge of the game. He accomplished this during time periods where society was engaged in equality struggles and other civil rights facets. Murphy, battling his own life obstacles, went on to secure victory-after-victory from minor to major championships.

MES primary goal is to provide an exciting entertainment project about the legacy of the Only Black Professional Billiard World Title Winner & BCA Hall of Fame Inductee in history.
